Architecture

Architecture must be forward looking and should aim to create the kind of world we would like to inhabit in the future. We believe design can be a catalyst for positive environmental change. Our work is an attempt to realise this vision and to produce buildings that are ahead of their time. The practice integrates the skills of architecture with engineering, both structural and environmental, urbanism, interior and industrial design, model and film making, geometry, materials research and many more – our collegiate working environment is similar to a compact university. By working together from the outset, we learn from one another and combine our knowledge to devise fully integrated design solutions.

 

Interior Design

By designing a building from the inside-out as much as from the outside-in, we inculcate a sense of continuity and connection to the wider world. The starting point for any design solution is to gain an understanding of people’s needs and the way in which a space will be used. The goal is the creation of interiors that are both functional and elegant, while evoking a sense of place and complementing a building’s outward expression.

 

Construction

Our Construction department consists of a group of Professional engineers with a long and rich experience and distinguished resume. The department has built many remarkable projects, residential and commercial, in raq.   

 

Construction Administration

We work on behalf of our clients and property owners, acting as their eyes and ears during the construction phase.

We monitor construction schedules, cost, progress and quality while providing support services such as instruction or clarification to contractors as required. Our services also carry over to the bidding and negotiation process. To minimize the negative impact on a building from construction methods and outside elements, we conduct research on a per-project basis to recommend the best set of tools and methods needed. Following construction, the Diehl Group determines substantial completion and ensures proper warranty documentation is provided by contractors.

Construction Administration

By evaluating a range of building methods and materials through our forensic engagements, our team possesses a unique advantage over traditional architecture firms when it comes to design reconstruction.Perhaps one of the most misunderstood and under-estimated disciplines in the architectural field is the area of Reconstruction Design and Construction. The inherent confinements within the reconstruction field present a set of special challenges. Dealing with, identifying and solving the problems within an established, built environment is not for the inexperienced. We know what does and does not work to our clients’ benefit. Our reconstruction designs and building details solve existing problems while addressing future needs.

 

Urban & Landscape Design

Designing at the urban scale is a complex undertaking, whether it involves a masterplan for a city, a regeneration scheme for a neighborhood, or planning a new public transport system. Our team includes planners and spatial designers, economists and anthropologists, and landscape architects and mobility engineers, working together to create thriving and resilient environments. In this era of unprecedented social, technological, and environmental change, our approach anticipates the evolutionary changes and rapid transformations shaping our urban environments.

Our Company provides technical expertise in the areas of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering; design of security, communication and controls systems and Construction Management, and has provided these services in Iraq for the past years.
